Early Saturday morning at BGC

I have always been amazed by Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. I could consider it a city of the future that should be an model for other cities in the Philippines should it undergo extensive development. Skyscrapers, underground wiring, working traffic lights, great hangout places, clean streets – it’s everything a Manila girl could wish for.

I took the BGC Bus West Route to see a friend who works at 24-7 Street and was dropped off to a bus stop a bit further from his office building. It was a good opportunity to do brisk walking too. I got to see two of the big murals in the area and a glimpse of the rising sun. As a frustrated artist, these are opportunities for quick phone snaps.

The caption could pass off as “Yes, I’m an anti-social. I’m on a resting bitch face with a sarcastic grin as we speak. You are disturbing my peace.”

The astronaut mural along Mercato Centrale.

The rising sun. Filtered photo for the ambiance, thank you.

2017 Goal: Do more walks around BGC and scavenge for more Instagram-worthy murals.
